Pacific West Association of REALTORS® (PWR)
Pacific West Association of REALTORS® (PWR) is the country's
fifth largest
real estate association.
Art Carter had understood for some time that
the Internet was an ideal medium for REALTORS®
to work with their clients. Being a
products and services oriented association, PWR wanted to help their members
to compete on the Internet. Websites were an essential part of that
strategy. Their first step, then, was to select a website provider.

Perkins, serving as the project manager, investigated several REALTOR®
website providers. PWR selected WebCubic's product because it
delivered a fast, easy, and affordable tool. WebCubic's best-of-breed "tool" is tightly integrated with SoCalMLS' IDX solution. This
enables PWR
to maintain a leadership role by enabling its members to compete in a

Since that time, PWR has added other product and services providers. One of
them is a tool that builds multimedia commercials and other marketing

buyers are more likely to use REALTORS® than traditional buyers and will
find those REALTORS® via the Internet.
Southland Regional Association of REALTORS®
The Southland Regional Association of REALTORS® (SRAR) is the second largest
local real estate association in California.
With so many providers of Internet products and services in their
community, SRAR found it difficult to police the many non-compliant
providers. Rather than looking for non-compliance, SRAR began exploring the
idea of themselves providing the solution to its members that would be
compliant with association and MLS rules. SRAR selected CubicIDX,
WebCubic's IDX product, to deliver an IDX solution to its members for use
from their websites. The solution allows website visitors to view agent and
office listings, and provides a full property search capability. In
addition, REALTORS® can offer automatic
daily e-mails of properties matching
their interests to subscribers. For members who do not already own a web
site, SRAR offers WebCubic's professional websites. Through these products,
SRAR members are able to work with tech-savvy consumers. As an association,
SRAR is delivering an essential service that helps its members to be
successful through a rich IDX solution.
Internet buyers remain four times longer on a website with IDX
property listings. Internet buyers are more likely to use REALTORS® than
traditional buyers.
